Little Landscapes

Lizbeth Lopez is a first-generation graduate of Kalamazoo College, where she earned degrees in Studio Art and Art History while also studying Creative Writing and Theater. A Mexican American artist born in Chicago and raised in Houston, Lizbeth draws on her experiences with identity, belonging, and community to inform her creative perspective.

Her work explores the relationships found in nature, creating themes of connection that she hopes resonate with people from all backgrounds. Through her small business, Little Landscapes by LL, Lizbeth creates miniature paintings designed to bring moments of beauty and wonder into everyday life.
